FeesThe Burleigh Heads Medical Centre is a private billing practice. Fees are as listed below. Reduced fees are available for pensioners and concession card holders. Coalmine & Pre-employment medicals are charged according to the requirements of the employer. Third party claims must pay for their accounts up front and lodge a claim through the courts. Workcover patients are given their appropriate paperwork to be submitted to their employer. We fax all accounts direct to Workcover. Veteran Affairs Gold Card patients are bulk billed. Patients are bulk billed for pathology, diabetes clinic, healthy heart clinic and immunisation clinics.
ALL CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 16 WILL BE BULK BILLED - Treatment Room Fee's Apply Cancellation policyWe understand that unforeseen circumstances may occasionally prevent patients from attending scheduled appointments. However, repeated missed appointments without prior notice impact our ability to provide care to all our patients. A reminder SMS is sent for your upcoming appointment, you can reply to the sms message by simply texting a "Yes" to confirm or a "No" to cancel your appointment. If a reply is not possible please call our practice on 07 55351844 to confirm, cancel or reschedule your appointment. To ensure the highest quality of service and fairness to others, we kindly request that you notify our clinic at least 2-4 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule
REGARDING MISSED APPOINTMENTS- Repeated no-shows may result in limited scheduling availability and a pre-paid fee will be required (equivalent to the type of appointment booked) to secure future bookings. This fee will be applied toward the consultation once the appointment is attended, furthermore, you will receive your Medicare rebate as usual. Please note: if you fail to attend a pre-paid appointment the pre-paid fee will be forfeited and will not be refunded! We appreciate your understanding and co-operation in helping us maintain an efficient and caring environment for everyone. |

Medicare EasyclaimWhen you pay your account at the time of consultation, you can have your medicare rebate paid directly onto your Debit card ie. Savings or Cheque account, BSB and Account Details or we can send the receipt to medicare which will be paid through your mygov account.
Repeat PrescriptionsIn the interest of good medical care, the medical practicioner will need to see you for a repeat prescription. At times a telehealth may be organised but in this case telehealth fees will apply. |
