Medical RecordsMedical records held by Burleigh Heads Medical Centre remain the property of the practice. If you wish to have your medical records transferred to another healthcare provider, your new practice must submit a signed request, authorised by you, to our practice. Upon receipt of this request, we will arrange for either a copy of your medical records or an appropriate clinical health summary to be forwarded to your new provider. A reasonable administrative fee may apply for the transfer of medical records, in accordance with applicable guidelines. |
